I wanted to share a bit about how I run my business while staying home with three young boys. These are paid services that I pay for on a monthly basis and use on a daily/weekly basis. Investing in services can be scary because you don't want to "lose money," but a bit of automation without losing your voice combined with my scheduling calendar for clients has not only helped me with my family/work life balance but also increased my productivity and revenue.
The three programs I consistently use are:
Acuity Scheduling: clients can schedule discovery calls and consult times through my calendar. Most recently I used this for my interviewees with the upcoming Real Runners Virtual Summit to schedule their interview times at their convenience but within my available schedule. This service is $10/month.
Buffer: I love using buffer for a few reasons, 1) a great way to plan and visualize content 2) saves past content to re-use 3) can schedule posts so you can free up work time during the day. I use buffer within my group programs so I can schedule on the weekends and spend my time engaging within the group on the weekday without thinking about what content needs to be shared each day. This service is $10/month.
Active Campaign: this is an email marketing service that you use to build your list, automate sales funnels, schedule email campaigns, and more. Active campaign has a lot more functionality than mailchimp yet isn't as expensive as say, Convert Kit. Pricing is based on the number of email addresses you have on your list. I currently pay $17/month. Truth be told I need to up my game in 2017 with this one!
So you can see that for less than $50/month I have help running my business!!
