I can’t even begin to tell you how fun this age is. Xander is full of personality, loves playing with his friends, is extremely active, and has a mind of his own. This month Xander went strawberry picking for the first time and also had a big trip to Ohio visiting Nana and Grandpa. To say he had a blast is an understatement. Mommy and Daddy were also able to go on their first date without baby!
Xander is eating more and more and we love that he’s able to tell us when he’s hungry. He will sign “more” followed by “eat” and then we know it’s time for a snack! He still nurses 4 times a day and we think we will introduce milk soon. He has his 15 month well-baby check-up next week, so we will talk that over with the pediatrician then. We’ve graduated him to toddler metal fork, as he is extremely good at spearing his food and the metal spears it even better. X still isn’t a fruit fan but we’re realizing he likes a good popsicle – so homemade fruit pureed/yogurt popsicle recipes will be abundant this summer, I think!
We visit the pool once a week and bought a family pass for the splash-park. He is such a water baby and I want to keep him exposed to it all summer long.
Can’t believe another month has passed so quickly – he’s the brightest light in our lives!
