I’m 19 weeks today! I better get to telling you all about week 18, because today is almost over!
I *think* I’ve felt baby flutters this week – so so exciting and I can’t wait for the next couple weeks to feel those sensations become more real! Baby H2.0 is now over 5 inches long and about 5 ounces. He/she is developing fingerprints, learning to yawn and hiccup! What a little person!
What’s Up With Mama
This week has been a little all over the place. More constipation issues (seriously, this can stop at any time), had an extremely grumpy day, and felt like I was getting a small cold. These were all on different days, but slightly annoying to have happen all in the same week. I’m almost up 2 pounds – so I’m unsure if I will make the 5 pound goal at 20 weeks, but we shall see.
Topic of the Week: Baby Sign Language
Some of you may know that we’ve been teaching Xander sign language. He’s recently had a sign language explosion and it makes us super thrilled that we took the time to incorporate signing into our lives. Being able to communicate in a more clear manner is super helpful and I can’t image that we wouldn’t continue to do this with babyH2.0. In fact, I hope Xander enjoys teaching his little brother or sister as well! Xander first sign was milk and his most recent signs are: signing, cracker, hat, and shoes. He signs 12 words clearly, but we know he understands a lot more! It’s super fun to see his growth and I hope h2.0 enjoys signing as well.
Hope you enjoyed the recap! If you have any questions for me or John along the way, please don’t hesitate to ask! <3
